As I just watched our flag (YouTube video), Old Glory being raised by four men at West Point, I continue to believe that we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. As the bugler played revelry, the hair stood on the back on my neck.
We Americans have a decision to make on November 8th. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the two top candidates. There are clear and distinct differences between the two. We the Kids is a very Patriotic organization. We love our Founding Fathers and Founding mothers. We believe our nation was founded on the BibleMarc Alan Urbach, or Judeo-Christian principles. We love our founding documents and our American history. We believe in capitalism and hard work. We believe that all citizens are created equal and should have the equal opportunity to succeed. We love America and try to instill all these qualities into every boy and girl, and students of all ages.
Depending on which television station you watch, you will see poll numbers indicating one candidate higher with a greater likelihood of winning the election. We will just have to wait and see.
Regardless of who wins, our nation will continue. As Americans of every background, we must come back to our foundation to restore our nation to righteousness. What is that you might ask? Like I said before, it is the Bible. We, meaning citizens must do a much better job teaching their children right from wrong. That there are certain rules and laws of behavior that citizens should follow. As John Adams said, “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people, it is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” “Teach our children well and when they are old they will not refrain from it.”
There are NOT three branches of government, but FIVE. The fifth and most powerful branch is “We the People,” also enshrined in our founding document, the Declaration of Independence. We must ensure that whoever becomes our next President, that we will do our best to instill in our children the right, positive, qualities that made this nation the greatest country in the history of the world. Thank you for reading and may God Bless you and your families and may He continue to Bless the Republic of the United States of America. Amen.
What…..did he just say there are 5 branches of government?
