With a deep radio voice and hearty laugh, Stan shares the stories of America with his insights and sense of humor on a nationally syndicated radio show, “History, Harleys, and the Highway”. Stan is looking to expand his show, cultivate a greater audience, and share the message that our communities and country are strongest when we work together and stand united.
Biography

Stan Ellsworth is the creator, producer, and Harley-riding host of American Ride, the Emmy award winning American history program entering its 11th season and available in over 50,000,000 American homes across the country on BYUtv.

Stan is a fascinating personality who literally has American history running in his veins. With a family history that includes Gen. George Washington and other historic luminaries such as Revolutionary War patriots Ethan Allen, Henry “Light Horse Harry” Lee, Gen. Daniel Morgan, General Robert E. Lee, American folk heroes Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett, and the notorious Frank and Jesse James, his commentaries and observations really hit home with audiences around the nation.

Ellsworth continues his mission to “wake up the nation” with a true recounting of our history and rich American heritage through his television show as well as by speaking to large numbers of America’s sons and daughters all across the country because Stan believes that the Light of Liberty needs to be protected and preserved by one generation for the next. It’s easy to see why American Ride is also used as a curriculum aide in home school, junior high, and high school classes nationwide.

To be sure, Stan takes a stand on American exceptionalism, and he is eager to spread the word about America’s greatness to radio audiences around the nation. While his easy and enjoyable format is poignant and prolific, he enjoys the controversy that comes with his version of America’s next great awakening.

Awards
For ‘American Ride’, Stan has received recognition from the American Academy of Television Arts with Six Emmys, including “Best Host.” Stan has also been honored by the Sons of the American Revolution with a Silver Medal of Citizenship; the National Coalition of Motorcyclists with the Silver Spoke Award; the American Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge with the George Washington Gold Medal of Freedom; the Boy Scouts of America for Patriotism; the Hon. Gary Herbert, Governor of Utah, for Service to the State, and several Sergeants Major of the United States Armed Forces for Distinguished Service to the Nation.
