Indiana educators make your new school year Revolutionary !  The Indiana Society of the Sons of the American Revolution hosts The Americanism Elementary Poster Contest each year. The Poster this year will depict 1 of 5 Indiana  American Revolutionary war events that occurred in Indiana. The student will have the option to choose one  event .All 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will research, create and enter their poster to each school’s nearest SAR Chapter for Chapter level judging ( local chapters found at inssar.org) .The winner of each Chapter moves on to State (due March 1st 2016 ) and then the State winner graduates to the National final SAR National Congress in Boston in July 2016. Prizes and awards will be given along the way. Contest instructions are located at sar.org under youth programs. What a great way to learn about Indiana in the Revolution and have fun!
